Still time to fund your community projects

There is still time to apply for a grant from Stansted Airport Community Trust. In the last 12 months the Trust awarded capital grants to the value of £88,699 to a wide variety of organisations within a ten mile radius of Stansted Airport.

For example, a grant for £2,000 was given to Mutts in Distress, an animal rescue centre, towards the conversion of a building into a hospital to help sick and injured animals.

Other grants have helped to replace stolen lead from local church roofs, provide new equipment including toys, tables and chairs for Little Harts Parents and Toddlers Group in Stebbing as well as IT equipment for the Kickstart Trust in Bishop’s Stortford, which helps unemployed people get back into work.

If you think that your organisation qualifies and could benefit from additional funding of up to £2,000 to help with a project that you have in mind, then please contact Stansted Airport Community Trust’s Chairman, Cllr Susan Baker on, for an application form or advice.

The closing date for the next round of applications is 23 June 2017.

The Trust does not fund projects for parish councils or individuals and does not grant money for completed projects.
